The Park Hotel has five versatile function rooms, each with its own distinctive style. From the old school glamour of The Ballroom to the informal elegance of The Rotary Lounge, we have the perfect room to suit your event.
In the past, our rooms have been used for everything from organized sporting tournaments to dance events.
Our private red carpet reception area and bar is available for your use when you choose to hold your event in The Ballroom or The Longsands Room at The Park Hotel.
The reception area is the perfect place to meet and greet your guests, to have an informal drink or to place a signing-in table or register at the start of your event.

 

The Rotary LoungeRotary Lounge

The Rotary Lounge at The Park Hotel is an elegant function room.
The room comes with a private cocktail bar that overlooks the sea and is flooded with natural light. The Rotary Lounge is ideal for smaller events and celebrations.

 

The Collingwood Suite

The Collingwood Suite is a versatile function room in the centre of The Park Hotel that can easily be extended to accommodate larger events.
It has a private bar and small stage area, as well as a dance floor. Our mobile sound system can be used to get your party started in the evening.

 

The Longsands Room

The Longsands Room at The Park Hotel is a stunning venue for your event and has a beautiful coastal backdrop.
The spacious room is flooded with natural light from the coast and gives spectacular views of the sea.
With a mobile sound system and dance floor, The Longsands Room is a brilliant choice for medium to large sized events with plenty of room for your guests to enjoy themselves.

 

The  Ballroom

The Ballroom at The Park Hotel is a truly versatile venue. Its large size makes it the ideal choice for holding everything from school proms to band nights. It can hold up to 2,000 people and has a spectacular intelligent lighting system that can be programmed to match your chosen event colors.
Get your event started with our superb sound and PA system and dance the night away in comfort on our sprung dance floor. We can even add strobe lighting to give you and your guests the feel of an exclusive nightclub.

 

The hotel restaurant

Situated in the original wing of the hotel, The Hotel Restaurant offers you and your event guests sweeping views of the coast and the pretty seaside village of Tynemouth.
The Hotel Restaurant is perfect for smaller events and celebrations.

The rooms at The Park Hotel have been decorated in a variety of styles in keeping with our Art Deco heritage. From the luxury of our Admiral Suite with its jacuzzi for two to our basic accommodation for guests who are keeping to a budget, we have rooms to suit everyone.

Every room at The Park Hotel has an en-suite bathroom and comes equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a multi-channel television, a hairdryer, and a telephone.

The Park Hotel has a ramp to allow easy access for wheelchairs, prams, and pushchairs.

 

The Admiral Suite

Treat yourself to a luxurious stay in the beautiful Admiral Suite. Relax in the magnificent jacuzzi, complete with its underwater lighting and music. Take in the views of the coast from the wide bay windows and enjoy the spacious luxury and privacy of this beautiful and opulent suite. A bottle of champagne can be put on ice for your arrival upon request.

Standard Rooms

Our standard rooms are available in a variety of decorative styles and layouts. Many of the standard rooms in the original wing of the hotel benefit from raised seating areas that give guests beautiful views of the coast. All our standard rooms have a full or partial sea view.

Wheelchair Accessible Rooms

Bedrooms with wheelchair access are located along the ground floor of the hotel and offer guests a choice of en-suite bathrooms or fully tiled wet rooms.

Family Rooms

Our family rooms can be arranged to suit the needs of your guests with combinations of single and double beds and ample space for travel cots. All the rooms have a full or partial sea view.

Basic Rooms

Our basic rooms come with a view of the hotel complex and are available as single, twin or double rooms. These rooms are ideal for guests who are travelling on a budget.

Hotel residents are invited to enjoy the 24-hour license at The Park Hotel.

A full English breakfast is served in The Hotel Restaurant from 7:30 am.
